Slingshot Pill Wakeboard 2022
“Pill” is quite different from “Native” and represents a new approach for high-end wakeboards. Extreme wakeboarders require sudden and explosive energy while carving on wakes. The NACA tech channels give the ultimate solution for a riding style with extra boost and control along with the stiff flex.
The atomic wood core and carbon fibres integrate into a single tough structure. NACA channels increase traction with their sole curve shape. For this reason, increased flex is required under the stance position. The rigid-flex helps to gain pop and adapts to high landings. Asti Faivre offers us a unique color and wave design pattern for “Pill”. This wakeboard’s tough and daring character is defined in a masterful way.

Final thoughts / Conclusion
A fair comparison between “Native” and “Pill” is truly impossible. The “Recoil” update exceeds all the expectations and gives us an efficient response. “Native” is not a simple “remake”. This board’s elliptical concave shape, groundbreaking core, and ballistic base allow soft transitions and extreme performance.
But “Pill” also has a tough structure, stiff flex and a thinner profile. The safe but aggressive riding style is guaranteed. Nevertheless, “Native” allows more possibilities with wake and park riding styles and adaptability and endurance. The victory over “Pill” was narrowly achieved.
